Everything around us tells women that their primary value is in the way they look, from the Photoshopped covers of “beauty” magazines, to advertisements for just about every product imaginable, we are bludgeoned with the lie that a woman’s worth is derived from the exterior of her body and the way it is decorated or displayed. Peter is calling that out as a dark lie.
